Dear friends,

Congratulations with the 40-years anniversary! We are very thankful to God for all of you who we met during our years in West Pokot in 1993-96 and 2002-04. We feel blessed for the opportunity we had to serve together with you in conveying the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.

We should very much have been together with you in celebrating the 40-years of church service. Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity and we therefore take this opportunity to send our greetings and best wishes to all of you.

We are all doing fine, hoping that we soon will get the chance to visit you in West Pokot. Mathias is 28 years, married to Linda and working in a consultancy company as a civil engineer. Simon is 25 and graduated as police in June. Benjamin is 23, married to Silje and working with carpentry and deep-sea fishing. Matilde is 19 and finished high school in June. Turid is working as a nurse and Knut in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We enjoy the fellowship of our church here in Spydeberg.

Dear borthers and sisters in Christ.

We do all rejoice at this 40 years annivesary of the ELCK´s church work in Pokot.

I am so glad that God allowed me and Valdis to participate in the great work. 

We are so thankful for all the growth of the church, its unity and good leadership.

Greetings to you all borthers and sisters in Christ, coworkers and friends.

May the Lord protect you and continue to guide you in unity in the years to come.

Kwa Ndugu zangu katika Kristo Yesu,

Nawasalimia kwa upendo wa Kristo Yesu. Bwana Yesu asifiwe wandugu na wadada.

Mimi Danson Mwanyika niko nyumbani hapa Taita. Mimi ni mzima na bado nampenda Kristo Yesu ambaye ni mwokozi wa maisha yangu na nafurahiya kuwa katika Kristo.

     Bado nawakumbuka kwa upendo wenu na hasa kwa kuipenda na kuitamani injili ya Kristo Yesu. Basi ningelipenda tushirikiane neno hili lipatikanalo kutoka kwa WAKOLOSAI 3:12 - 17.

      namshukuru sana ndugu Erling Lundeby ( namuita Mandevu ) kwa vile naona akiwa huko Ulaya anatukumbuka na hata akiwa hapo Kapenguria Mungu ambariki katika kazi hii yakueneza Injili yake Kristo.

      Wapendwa Mungu awabariki , moyo wangu nikiwa hapa Taita nimekuwa nikiwaza ni kwa njia gani nitaweza kuwasiliana ? Tumeachana katika mwili ila  tuko pamoja katika Roho. Kwa sasa nitapenda kupata adress za makanisa ya huko Chesta, Chepareria,Kapenguria na huko Sekker ili tuwe tukiwasiliana,  mujue vile ninaendelea na pia nijue vile mnaendelea. Nawashukuru sana kwa msaada wenu mlivyonisaidia na WImbi wakati nilipokuwa na ugonjwa wa Kisukari sasa sina shida hiyo ilipona kabisa na namshukuru Mungu. Lakini sasa. Mke wangu ndio shida inayomsumbua, tuendelee kumuweka kwa maombi.

     Mwisho nawatakia Krisimasi njema yenye baraka tukikumbuka kuwa Kristo Yesu alizaliwa ulimwenguni ili atuokoe kutoka kwenye dhambi.
